AWANA Program
Sharon Baptist Church is proud to offer an AWANA program for children ages three through sixth grade. Four clubs are offered at Sharon: CUBBIES for three and four year old boys and girls; SPARKS for boys and girls in kindergarten through 2nd grade; a Truth and Training club for girls in grades 3 through 6; and a Truth and Training Club for boys in grades 3 through 6.
Our AWANA clubs meet nearly every Sunday evening during the regular school term. Club time begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at 7:45 p.m.
The AWANA evening is divided into three major time slots. Following an opening assembly at 6:00 p.m. - all clubbers have game time, handbook time, and council time each Wednesday night. The success of the child in earning awards through the AWANA program is their preparation from week to week. Parents are encouraged to assist their child in the memorization of sections in their book and memory verses.
Does your child need transportation in order to attend AWANA or other services at Sharon? Please contact our church office at 684-5156 and we will see if arrangements can be made to pick-up children who have such a need.
