Children's Music & Worship

In Psalm 68:4 we are told to “Sing praise to God, to sing praise to His name…”  At  Sharon Baptist, we believe that even the youngest singers should be encouraged to use their voices to praise Him.

Choirs for children ages 3 through sixth grade are held at Sharon.  In addition, to singing, children learn to play simple rhythm instruments and the basics of reading music.  On occasion, the children have opportunity to present special music in a worship service or as part of a seasonal cantata.

Children (ages 4 and above) are always invited to be a part of the weekly worship services of Sharon Baptist.  In addition, we offer a special children’s service (for ages 4 through 2nd grade) as part of the Sunday morning worship.  Children are asked to attend the regular morning  worship until released to children’s church.  Children are   invited to attend the Sunday evening worship service weekly.
